As a Continuum of Care, we have been required to conduct a point-in-time census of sheltered and unsheltered homeless families and individuals in the last 10 days of January in alternate (odd-numbered) years. Beginning in 2015, we began conducting a point-in-time census of sheltered and unsheltered homeless individuals and families on an annual basis. We are required to conduct a point-in-time of sheltered families and individuals only, in the last 10 days of January in even-numbered years.

2015 Point in Time Count Report - January 23rd, 2015






The full Point in Time Report is above along with a short Executive Summary. The Data Supplement is an Addendum containing the response to the general surveys and youth surveys. We utilized a methodology designed by Applied Survey Research.
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will review the report at the August 25th, 2015 Board meeting at 8:30am.

2013 Point In Time Count Report - January 25, 2013



This year's report appears in 2 volumes: the Comprehensive Report, and an Addendum containing the responses to the general and youth surveys. For this count, and in 2011 and 2009, we used a methodology designed by Applied Survey Research. The Board of Supervisors Presentation (submitted 4/21/13 but presented at the May 7, 2013 Board meeting) stands as an executive summary of the report. The HDX summary is a 1-page snapshot of who was found on January 25, 2013, which was submitted to HUD for its annual report to Congress.
