The Continuum of Care Planning Group brings together the widest possible representation from nonprofits, government, service providers, housing developers, law enforcement, faith-based, business, homeless and general communities. The CCPG meets quarterly to discuss emerging issues, plan solutions, prioritize community needs,share information, and prepare the annual CoC funding submission. Meetings are open to the public, taking place on the 3rd Thursday of January, April, July and October, from 1:00-4:00 pm, at the Sonoma County Community Development Commission, 1440 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa, CA.

The next Continuum of Care Quarterly Membership meeting will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 1pm-4pm at 1440 Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa. A Brown Bag training session will precede the meeting from 12pm-1pm. This session will be focused on HMIS and open to all agencies utilizing HMIS or interested in utilizing HMIS.

The next Continuum of Care Quarterly Membership meeting will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 1pm-4pm at 1440 Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa. A Brown Bag training session will precede the meeting from 12pm-1pm. This session will be focused on HUD's Equal Access Rule. Please note that all CoC/ESG funded agencies as well as agencies receiving Public Services funding are strongly encouraged to send a representative to this training. The next Continuum of Care Quarterly Membership meeting will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 1-4pm at 1440 Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa. Dee Schweitzer will lead a Brown Bag lunch session on effective practices in program documentation for homeless service providers prior to the meeting from 12pm-1pm. All homeless service providers are encouraged to send a representative to this session.

At the October 16 meeting, the CoC membership discussed A Portrait of Sonoma County, how this in-depth look at life expectancy, education and income in Sonoma County, how disparities across the county's 99 census tracts impact these three broad indicators of human development--and how these are all related to homelessness.
